Q: When is the race?

A: June 16th, 2018

Q: Where is the race?

A: The start/finish is at the Big M Ski Area in Wellston, MI

Q: Is there a rider cap?

A: Yes, 450 racers total ( This race usually sells out so don’t wait to register)

Q: How do I register?

A: Registration will open January 7th, 2018 Noon est. at Bikereg. Sorry no mail in registrations

Q: How do I transfer to a different race category?

A: You can change to a different race category ( ie; fat bike, single speed…) prior to 11:45 p.m.  June 8 2018. email stencate@comcast.net with your request and category.

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: No refund of any kind will be allowed although you can transfer your entry for $15 to another rider via Bike Reg prior to 11:45 p.m.  June 8 2018

Q: I would like to transfer my entry to someone else, how do I do that?

A: The original registered racer finds someone to purchase their registration.  The two parties determine the price of the transfered registration and make payment arrangements on your own.  The original registered racer goes into their Bikereg race entry and selects “transfer your entry” and enter the email of the person transfering in. The new racer will accept the registration, pay the $15 transfer fee and select their racing category. . The deadline for transfers is  June 8, 2018 at 11:45 pm est.

Q: When is Packet Pick Up?

A: Friday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Saturday from 5:30a.m.-7:00 a.m. at the Big M Ski Lodge

Q: Is there a time cut off?

A: yes! Racers will not be allowed to start their third lap after 3:00 pm

Q: What is the address for the lodge?

A: There is no published address for the lodge. It is 3.5 south of M55 on Udell Hills Road on the right hand side, Manistee, MI 49660. Can’t miss it. GPS coordinates N44 11.570, W086 04.011

 Q: Can I have someone pick up my packet for me?

A: Yes but they will have to show us an ID, then print and sign a document that they took it for you

Q: How is the race timed and scored?

A: Chronotrack Timing by Newton Timing Company. Rigid handlebar number plates with timing chips will be used for the best timing available. Do not remove the timing chip off of the number plate! Do not put the number plate anywhere but on the handle bar or your time will not be recorded! Do not use zip ties to hold your number plate, they will tear the plate. Please use the twist ties provided. 

Q: When does the race start and what are the wave start times?

A: The race starts at 7:00 a.m. with a mass start 2 miles outside of the park entrance (North) up Udell Hills rd.

Q: What food is available at the aid station?

A: The Aid Stations will be stocked with water, Hammer Heed, fruit, cookies, candy, and P&J

A: Over $7000 in awards cash and prizes
